Liquid fertiliser for tulips bulbs and other bulbous plants
Vivacity is a special fertilizer tulips bulbs, liquid formulation with rapid absorption. Ideal for fertilising bulbous plants like tulips, freesias, iris, call, begonias, cyclamen, daffodils, dahlias, hyacinths and many others. The product contains all nutrients in optimal proportions and dosages for rapid radical uptake. The formulation also benefits from the presence of RyZea, an algal extract multivitamin complex that facilitates the absorption of nutrients and activates plant metabolism. Vivacity, therefore, promotes the main biological processes, intensifies the flowering time lengthening and gives the flowers bright and intense colors. Periodic applications of fertilizer, ensure visible results within a few days as well as give the bulb all the energy necessary to flower year after year.
Bulbous plants: cultivation and care
Ideal for decorating balconies and gardens, bulbous plants give flowers in magnificent shades. To have beautiful plants, full-bodied, bright and healthy, a few tricks of cultivation must be followed. Most bulbous soils prefer loose, fertile soils free of plant residues, well drained. The most dangerous threat is the stagnation of water that causes mold and rot. Therefore, it is advisable, from late winter, to spread on the ground or to mix with the water of the watering, products based on iron sulfate. This is an important treatment because it also contrasts the yellowing of the leaves (ferric chlorosis). At the same time, it enhances the colour of the petals, making them intense and vivid.
When to plant tulips – What is the best season for planting bulbs?
The best time to plant bulbs is in autumn. From October to the end of November, tulips bulbs may be planted. December is the last winter month of the tulip season. The plant needs rest in winter, away from frost, before blooming in spring. It is important to know the tulip variety in order to plant their bulbs at the right time. The flowering season of the tulip varies according to the cultivar, usually between March, April and May. Flowers like the sun, but not exposed to the winds, temperate climates are their ideal habitat. The perfect soil for tulips is sandy and well draining, rich of organic nutrients. For this type of plants is an especially suitable fertilisation with natural organic products. | Doses and Methods | Due to its specific formulation, Vivacity is suitable for use in all phases of the life cycle of plants. It is advisable to dilute 9 ml in 1,5 liters of water (18-20 ml in 3 liters) and sprinkle plants and soil with this solution. When mixed with products that provide organic substance like Bio Complet Plus, halve the indicated doses. Repeat applications every 7-10 days. |
